    Located just a 7-minute stroll from the Eastern Higashi-Hongan-ji Monastery, the 5-star smoke-free The Thousand Kyoto hotel provides guests with a 24-hour front desk and wake-up calls. This Kyoto hotel offers a banquet hall, 2.5 km from the Maruyama Park, making it an attractive choice.

    The hotel is situated nearly a 10-minute drive from the head Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and fairly close to the Aqua Fantasy water park. The Thousand Kyoto is 2.3 km from the Tofuku-ji Temple in Kyoto. The accommodation lies only 500 metres from Kyoto underground station and about 20 minutes on foot from Karasuma train station. This Kyoto hotel is centrally located 50 km from Itami airport.

    Some of the air-conditioned rooms have a balcony and a terrace, and such facilities as a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, along with a mini-fridge-bar, coffee and tea making equipment. There is also an electric kettle and a fridge. Providing a spa bathtub and a separate toilet, some bathrooms have dressing gowns.

    A cooked-to-order breakfast is served each morning at The Thousand Kyoto.
